Our story
A group of farmers got together on a study trip in 2006. From that trip a vision grew of getting a more active role in marketing their own grain on the international market. Traditionally in Finland international grain trade is in the hand of a few bigger companies and our farmers got more and more devoted to increase their own knowledge about the export possibilities and finding new markets and long-term cooperation with partners on the export market.
IMPORTANT MILESTONES FOR THE COMPANY HAVE BEEN:
•The development of an own seacontainer export model for finnish grain raw material. The scalable model enables spot on deliveries with 100 % traceability to the farm that has produced the grain.
•Export of gluten free oats to end users in Germany and Italy.
•Export of oats and barley to China. Our company was one of the first companies in Finland to export oats and barley to China.
